Tim Gates has been part of Ballantyne Country Club since 2012. Prior to taking on the position of Assistant FAC Director, he worked in various roles within the Food and Beverage department as a server, bartender, and Men’s Grill attendant. Tim is originally from Columbus, Ohio and earned his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Wittenberg University. Additionally, he earned a Master’s of Science in Applied Psychology from Lynn University with a focus on child and adolescent identity development. Tim has a love for playing and coaching all sports. He played lacrosse in college and overseas in Australia’s professional league for a season before returning to the US. For the past year, he has served as Assistant Site Director for the FLYERS after school program at Orchard Park Elementary in Fort Mill, SC. Tim is excited to bring his knowledge and passion for making a positive impact in the development of kids to the Children’s Programs here at the Ballantyne FAC.
